The Apple II Bites Back
Dvorak has a good mind for satire ("What If . . .," August '95, page 188), but sometimes his ignorance sneaks through. He keeps forgetting the Apple IIe when he mocks the Apple II. My IIe had 768K of RAM, a mouse, a 2,400-bps modem, a RAM disk, speech-synthesis capability, color, and built-in output to TVs and VCRs. It could use hard drives, 3.5-inch floppy drives, and a GUI, and as John refuses to admit, it could type in lowercase too!

Maybe you should sell the last page before your back cover to one of your advertisers. Not only would it be more profitable but it would also probably be more informative to your readers.
